DESTAND is thrilled to announce that our CEO, Mr Nikolaos Myriounis, has been appointed to the CEN and CENELEC STRATEGIC ADVISORY GROUP (SAG) ON DEFENCE as a NATIONAL QUALITY INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM/ELOT delegate and Defence Standardization Advisor.
The Kick-off meeting of the CEN and CENELEC SAG Defence held on Tuesday 20 October 2026, at AFNOR Group premises in Paris, with the participation of representatives from European Commission DG DEFIS, CEN and CENELEC CLC, European Standardization Organizations, National Standardization Bodies, European Industry and SMEs Associations, and European Classification Societies.
The scope of CEN and CENELEC SAG Defence is to provide recommendations to CEN and CENELEC on the prioritization of European Dual-Use Standardization Activities.
