Defence Standardization Advice was privileged to participate in World Defense Show (WDS) 2026, which took place on February 8–12 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. WDS is one of the largest defense exhibitions internationally with the participation of Global Leaders in Defense Programs.
During the days of the exhibition DSA had the opportunity to discuss the role of Defense Quality Infrastructure and Defense Standardization in Capabilities Development, Conformity Assessment, Research, Innovation and Armaments Industrial projects with the following stakeholders:
• Capabilities Development and Quality Infrastructure:
o General Authority of Defense Development (GADD)
• Field Testing and Evaluation
o MIDANA for Testing and Evaluation
• Industrial Projects:
o National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS)
Standardization is essential and crosscutting to all Defence Capabilities and projects in order to achieve “interoperability by design”, enhance the operational effectiveness, and facilitate the defragmentation of the Defence Market. Common standards boost competitiveness and maximize the use of resources.
DSA is thrilled to expand its cooperation with KSA Governmental, and Industrial towards the above-mentioned endeavors and support Saudi Arabia Authorities and Industries towards the implementation of the KSA 2030 Vision.
